Dog Training in Kent

Your Questions… My Answers

Whether you’re curious about training methods, session details, or what to expect, this FAQ page covers the most common queries. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to get in touch – I’m always happy to chat through anything with you.

typical queries
Can older dogs really learn new behaviours?
Absolutely! While puppies can be easier to train initially, older dogs are perfectly capable of learning new habits. It takes patience, consistency, and the right approach – something we’ll work on together.
My dog’s behaviour feels really out of control. Will my approach actually work?

Every dog is different, but I specialise in tackling tough behaviours. By understanding your dog’s unique needs and tailoring a plan to suit both of you, we’ll start to see positive changes, one step at a time.
How long will it take to see results?
The time it takes varies based on your dog and their behaviour, but many clients start noticing small improvements after just one or two sessions. Consistency is key to achieving long-lasting results.
I’ve tried training before, and it didn’t help. How is this different?
Many training programs focus on quick fixes or generic methods. My approach is customised to your dog and your specific challenges, ensuring it’s both effective and sustainable in your daily life.
My dog has shown aggressive behaviours. Can you help?
Yes, I have experience working with reactive and anxious dogs. Together, we’ll focus on helping your dog feel more secure and teaching you strategies to handle their behaviour safely and confidently.
Do you only work with certain breeds?
No – all dogs are welcome! Whether you have a small terrier or a large German Shepherd, every breed can benefit from training and behaviour coaching.
Can I train my dog myself, or do I need a professional?
While many dog owners try to train on their own, professional guidance helps you understand the root cause of behaviours and ensures you’re using effective techniques. I’ll empower you with the skills and knowledge to continue working with your dog long-term.
How do I get started?
It’s easy! Book a free consultation to chat about your dog, your goals, and how I can help. From there, we’ll create a plan that fits your needs perfectly.

Getting There Together

At the heart of my approach is a commitment to prioritising every dog’s wellbeing and happiness. I believe in building confidence and trust between dogs and their families, creating stronger, more harmonious relationships.
