Dog Training in Kent
Get To Know Me
Behind every session is a passion for helping dogs and their families thrive. On this page, you’ll learn more about my background, philosophy, and the experience that shapes my approach to dog training and behavioural support.
my dog training background

For The Love Of Dogs…
Some of my happiest childhood memories revolve around family dogs and the joy they brought into everyday life. Back then, dogs didn’t often go to training classes – times were very different. Over the years, I’ve realised that much of the traditional advice about raising and training dogs isn’t always in their best interest, or that of the people they live with.
That understanding drove me to delve deeper, to question outdated approaches, and to learn everything I can about what helps dogs thrive while strengthening their bonds with their people.
Why choose to work with me

Years of experience, responsibility, and love for dogs, combined with extensive professional development, enable me to provide practical and empathetic guidance to families and their dogs.
Helping both owners and dogs feel understood
Identifying subtle cues that shape behaviour.
Evaluating what works best for each unique situation.
I’ve been a professional dog trainer since 2020 and specialise in:
Foundation Training:
From playful puppies to older “silver paws” dogs (yes, they can learn new tricks!).
Rescue Dogs:
Helping them adapt and feel safe in their new homes.
Border Collies:
A breed with unique quirks/traits (challenges) and incredible potential.
Behavioural First Aid:
Support and guidance to manage and prevent escalation of concerning behaviours.
Nervous or Reactive Dogs:
Building confidence to manage their fears.
Excitable Dogs:
Encouraging calm behaviours and focus.
